The Electric Tent
During the final four days of Aarhus Festival, KUL is opening the doors to The Electric Tent, where light, sound and space provide the setting for social and cultural experiences. Here, you’re invited to step into the ‘space within a space’.
Entry is free. Come as you are, stay as long as you like. Bring a friend – or make a new one.
Beneath the tent poles, we’ll create a new festival tradition together, where the familiar takes on a new form through electric vibes. The Electric Tent is a temporary festival installation – an experiment and a get-together in Aarhus’s new district at Sydhavnen.
The days offer a mix of hang-out, exhibitions, light, sound, performance and more, all in an informal atmosphere.
The Electric Tent takes place at KUL – a new venue in Sydhavnen, at the end of Kulbroen. On Thursday 3 September, from 4 pm to 5 pm, the official opening of KUL will take place, after which The Electric Tent will be declared open. The reception is open to anyone who’d like to pop in, experience the venue and join us as we open the doors to a new space that will, from now on, provide a setting for events, culture and creative communities.
