For 8 years KOSMOS Good Life Optog has fascinated people in Aarhus with its spectacular parades through central Aarhus, and spread joy in the streets with its 3-meter high puppets, mask characters, clowns, and live music.

In Aarhus Festival Week 2026, we are moving Theatre KOSMOS’ fantastic characters indoors to make a new and exciting kind of show in Folkehuset Ankersgade’s large room. The performance, directed by Maria Lexa, is called Totem, and appeals to audiences of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

Totem In Aarhus Festival Week 2025 was a resounding success, and we expect that Totem 2026 will be just as delightful.  

Here the spectators sit facing an enchanting scenography and experience a flowing collage of choreographed scenes with KOSMOS’ renowned giant puppets and mask characters, accompanied by live music.
