Vilde teknologier - Saturday for the whole family

On Saturday 29 August, we’re transforming Dokk1 into a huge playground for technology, ideas and discoveries, all at child-friendly height. It’s a day for the curious – especially children, but also for the rest of the family.

Join us as we build the longest marble run Aarhus has ever seen! On the Ramp, drills, materials and all sorts of gadgets are ready and waiting – and it’s up to you to put it all together, piece by piece, until the ball rolls all the way through.

Meanwhile, our robot dog Bob has been training all summer. This year, he’s taking on an agility course with obstacles, speed and total focus. Will he complete the course? Come and cheer him on!

Inside the library, a whole world of robots, programming and creative building awaits, where the children themselves are in the driving seat.

In the Main Hall, Snöleoparden and other artists take to the stage with space music created from signals from space.

In the exhibition area, you can, amongst other things:

- Play mini-golf and bobsleigh games with robots at the Robot Workshop

- Visit Eduard and experience digital screen printing

- Discover how technology can be used for play, learning and smart solutions to everyday challenges

- Pop into the DokkX exhibition, see Dokk1’s giant book robot in action, and be amazed by everything buzzing around the building all day long.

The day is packed with short activities that are perfect for little legs and short attention spans.

It’s all free, and you can come and go as you please.
