Why borders?
A story from the borders of Northern Ireland. Told by the people living in it. A story of habits and thoughts. Religion and faith. Differences and similarities. But also a story of hope. Of looking across the fence. Of wanting to face the past in the present. Why are borders, and how can we tear them down, before they tear us apart?
The seminar takes about an hour and sixties by a group of young adults from Presbyterian churches in Northern Ireland. They’ve all grown up in the shadows of The Troubles, and have roots on both sides of the tall borders that sadly still exist between groups of people in the country. Coffee will be served.
On Saturday 29th Haven Aarhus, in collaboration with a group of Northern Irish youths from European Mission Fellowship, arranges a string of cultural events. Come by for both a seminar, a bake-off, a community meal and a night of Irish hymns.
