As part of Aarhus Festival Week, our gallery is hosting loads of brilliant events and workshops!

On Sunday 1 September at 4 pm, you can meet one of our talented artists and take part in an exciting workshop. Here, you’ll have the chance to play and create, with a helping hand from Anna Wiene.

Anna Wiene explores the borderland between the absurd, the humorous and the dark through painting and mixed media. Her works balance figurative and abstract expressions, where quirky narratives, visual irony and intuitive processes invite the viewer to experience the familiar from new and unexpected perspectives. Through her art, she creates open-ended narratives where imagination, excitement and curiosity are given space to unfold.

All works created during this workshop will be exhibited at a joint opening; WALL OF MINDS (5 September)
