EXTRA SHOWING: Mariupol Theatre will be at World Kiosk once again on the 4th between 12 and 1 pm.

For one hour, World Kiosk will become a living library, where six artists and collaborators from Mariupol Theatre will be on hand as Living Books. They will share personal stories about home, family, identity, loss, displacement and new beginnings.

One of the stories is about the Mariupol Theatre itself. The theatre was bombed and burnt down during Russia’s attack on Mariupol, and the theatre’s artists were scattered across different countries. Today, the theatre continues to create art in exile.

Here, you’ll have the chance to meet people who have personally experienced some of the events that the rest of us often only encounter through TV and the news. Choose the story that piques your curiosity, sit down, listen and ask questions. Each conversation lasts approximately 12–15 minutes.
