For one hour, World Kiosk becomes a living library, where six artists and collaborators from Mariupol Theatre sit ready as Living Books. They share personal stories about home, family, identity, loss, displacement and new beginnings.

One of the stories is about the Mariupol Theatre itself. The theatre was bombed and burnt down during Russia’s attack on Mariupol, and the theatre’s artists were scattered across different countries. Today, the theatre continues to create art in exile.

Here you’ll have the chance to meet people who have personally experienced some of the events that the rest of us often only encounter through TV and the news. Choose the story that piques your curiosity, sit down, listen and ask questions. Each conversation lasts approximately 12–15 minutes.
