Welcome to Festuge's new organiser registration 

Do you have an event you would like to include in the programme for Aarhus Festival 2026? Then you've come to the right place!

Every year, Aarhus Festival is shaped by hundreds of local actors, organisations, and associations who contribute events to the official programme – making the festival a truly community-driven effort.

We prioritise including events in the programme that grow out of the local cultural ecosystem and contribute to the shared festival experience in Aarhus. The deadline for submitting events for the programme is the June 30th.

As such, the form for joining the programme is only available in Danish. If you are locally based and have an event you would like to share and are unable to fill out the form in Danish, please contact Aarhus Festival on info@aarhusfestival.dk.  

All other inquiries about submitting externally produced or touring events without local involvement require getting in contact with the Festival on info@aarhusfestuge.dk.

Please note that you are responsible for obtaining the necessary permits from the authorities. This means that you do not automatically get permission to use the city's public areas by registering your event through the Festival's organiser registration. We refer to Aarhus Municipality's application platform BrugAarhus.dk.

Aarhus Festival 2026 takes place from 28 August to 6 September.
