efteraar x VÆXT (M56;10)

efteraar is an Aarhus-based band consisting of six members in their late twenties, who since 2022 have moved between dreamy indie pop and energetic rock. Their sound combines catchy melodies with an experimental and challenging expression that invites the listener to reflect. efteraar strives to capture the colours of autumn in their music - both the light and the darker shades.

With a sound that balances between raw intensity and soaring melodies, efteraar create an atmosphere where dreamy guitars and Bernhard Babanto's airy vocals take centre stage. They find energy in the intimate chaos of the rehearsal space with hand-played instruments, but also experiment with electronic elements - a fusion that really comes to life when efteraar plays live.

Thematically, efteraar is inspired by the late twenties, and the obligatory worries and frustrations that fill the void between youth and adulthood. This can be felt on their debut album, which was released on 25 April 2025 on Communale Records.

"kalder på et øjeblik" revolves around the conflicting emotions of being in their late twenties - from being stuck on the hamster wheel, crumbling friendships and the ups and downs of love life. The feeling that everything around you is moving so fast that you unconsciously just go with the flow. Should you continue on the same path, or should you take the leap and take a new path? Maybe you need to stop and exhale? It's time to reflect. It calls for a moment.

efteraar played this year at SPOT Festival, and received 5/6 stars from GAFFA where they wrote:
