Gary Snider has been delighting Leonard Cohen fans for the past eight years with his personal and authentic interpretations of Cohen's great songs.

Gary recites excerpts of the lyrics and spices up the music with explanations about the songs and their background. Again and again, the audience is inspired to listen more intently to the poetic and sometimes complex lyrics. Gary and Leonard have many things in common. Both were born in Canada to Jewish families with musical mothers. Leonard spent many years living in Greece and the USA. For Gary, Denmark became the land of happiness! It all started with a fling! Gary impulsively threw himself into interpreting a couple of Cohen's songs, but he was hooked and it developed quickly. Now it's the Leonard Cohen Affair!

When Gary takes the stage, it's with a twinkle in his eye and a liberating sense of humour. It lightens up the often sombre songs, which also often contain a glimmer of light. As Cohen writes in the song 'Anthem': There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in! You immediately sense Gary's deep respect for the master and his love for both the man and the music radiates beyond the stage.
