Classical organ concert, ambient techno and robotics come together in the Langenæskirken.

Maxime Denuc (FR) plays organ music like no other. In fact, he doesn't play at all. And no mortal can play his music. Confused?

Denuc has built a robot where he uses a computer and so-called MIDI controllers to control the sounds and, not least, how fast the robot should play. The result is a magical sound experience that combines the all-encompassing baroque grandeur of the ancient church organ with the hypnotic tempo of modern techno.

Perfect blend of Bach and Hans Zimmer

Maxime Denuc released the critically acclaimed album 'Nachtorn' in 2022 and has since performed in churches around the world. His music has been aptly described as "somewhere between Johann S. Bach and Hans Zimmer".

Denuc himself says of his particular update of classical organ music:
"The music that is created sounds like electronic music because it is more or less constructed in the same way, but the fact that it is generated acoustically creates something special."

The concert in Langenæskirken on September 4th is a Danish premiere and quite simply a unique chance for a church concert to remember.
